Founded in 2010, KLIRRLICHT is a duo dedicated to the conceptual and improvisational exploration of the sonic and formal possibilities of combining modular synthesizers and violin or viola. Contemporary electronic music and Krautrock electronica are equally musical reference points.
KLIRRLICHT’s live improvisations stand on their own and are also used as a basis for compositional post-production processes.
Klirrlicht appeared live at Galerie Alte Mitte Essen, Malkasten Düsseldorf and ArTheater Köln, among others.
