Melodies reminiscent of 80s synth pop, allusions to 70s art rock and minimalist interwoven patterns mix with classical soprano voices and falsetto choirs in 5 pieces that were created as stage music for the performance WHERE ARE YOU, GENIUS? as part of the interdisciplinary theatre project LET’S SING by the performance collective Polar Publik. The original stage version with 2 synthesizers and a soprano as well as two actresses, in connection with choreography and costumes, seemed like a “surrealistic mini-opera” (Kölner Stadtanzeiger).

The EP studio version is extended by one song and contains synthesizer overdubs as well as electric guitar, percussion and choir voices in addition to the original instrumentation.
